Ajay B. Setya, D.D.S., M.S.D.

Practicing at the highest level of clinical excellence, is Dr. Setya's goal. He feels strongly that excellence comes from continued advanced training and education. Every year, he takes over 100 hours of Continuing Education from the most prestigious institutions including Pankey Post-Graduate Institute, MISCH International Dental Implant Institution, and Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education.

The esteemed dental school, Case Western Reserve University College of Dentistry, is where Dr. Setya chose to earn his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS). In 1992, after practicing general dentistry for four years, he then returned to Case Western and successfully completed a additional four-year periodontal residency, obtaining his Masters of Science in Oral Medicine and Certificate in Periodontics. Upon graduation, he moved to Mission Viejo and began periodontal practice with Dr. Hirst.

Regarding Dental Implants, Dr. Setya has successfully placed several thousand. He is highly trained in the latest and most advanced implant techniques. He is also a speaker and lecturer to other dentists on this subject.

On a Personal Note

Dr. Setya is married with three children. His outside interests include: tennis, hiking, biking, and travel.
